We all know and love the warm smell of cinnamon that ushers in the beginning of the holiday season. And we all can recognize the heavenly scent of roasted almonds that are sold at fairs, football games, craft shows and other locations. This recipe brings those great things home in an easy to make way, and are the perfect snack that everyone will love.
1 pound of almonds
1 egg white
1 teaspoon of vanilla
¾ cup of brown sugar
¼ cup of white sugar
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
½ teaspoon of salt
1)Preheat your oven to 250℉. Put the egg white and the vanilla in a bowl and mix until they are frothy.
2)In a large zip-lock bag, mix the sugars, cinnamon, and salt until thoroughly combined.
3)Put the almonds in the egg mixture and stir until they are completely coated, then put them in the bag of dry ingredients. Shake until they are entirely covered in the mixture.
4)Spread the almonds out in a single layer on a large cookie sheet and cook for one hour, stirring them every 15 minutes. Remove and enjoy.
