Thursday November 12, Key Club met for their monthly service project. The project entailed building pinwheels to donate to help Syrian children in refugee camps. The pinwheels will be given to an organization that will donate two dollars for every pin wheel made and decorated.
This is not the first time that key club has worked with this organization. Last year the club made bookmarks for the organization. These projects are something that the majority of Key Club looks forward to because it is an easy and fun way to help those in need in other countries.
Key Club is also teaming up with student council to collect canned food for in need families at LHS during the thanksgiving break. Donations are being collected in the counseling office. On Monday November 16 some key club members will be helping package the food in baskets to give away.
