On Tuesday, April 5, members of the LHS select choir, Troubadours, opened the Denver Nuggets game at the Pepsi Center by singing the national anthem.
“I thought the experience was really fun. The feeling of everyone in the Pepsi Center listening to us sing was pretty cool, and I liked hearing our voices fill the place,” said sophomore Turner DeShon.
This was the Troubadours’ second time singing at a Denver Nuggets game, but definitely not their last. Choir director Jim Farrell is eager to make it a tradition with the school’s top performing choir to sing at popular sporting events.
