Make-A-Wish spirit week is here!

LHS, Make-A-Wish spirit week is finally upon us! After many delays, this week we will all show our lion pride in an effort to raise money to send little Dominic off to Walt Disney World!

To play your part in this fundraiser, all you need to do is participate in one of the many events going on around campus this week. Here is a summary of the events going on throughout the week, be sure to take part in the fun!

Today through Friday you can purchase a Star in the cafeteria during A and B lunches for $1 and add it to the Star Wall outside the Math/Language Arts offices.

You can also purchase Make-A-Wish shirts for $12 during both lunches in the cafeteria. Be sure to wear them on Friday!

Tomorrow after school show your support through a fun-filled game of Dodge Ball! Go to the north gym after school to play for $10 with a team of six.

This Wednesday, bring your phones to the north gym and show your musical talents in the Lip Sync Battles. Each participant will get a jar with their name on it, and winners will be determined based on the amount of change they collect in their jar.

Thursday, during both lunches, come out and try to dunk Mr. Amonson along with two mystery guests. The Dunk Tank only costs $2 per throw. This is an event that you will not want to miss!

Friday we have the Make-A-Wish pep assembly. As a special treat, root beer floats will also be sold after school in the lobby and cafeteria for $3.  Also, be sure to check with your teachers to see if they are participating in the Change Bucket Challenge.

Make-A-Wish week is a special way for us all to collaborate and help someone in need, while also showing off our spirit, and having a lot of fun! Enjoy this week and give into to your generosity.
