Frisbee qualifies for state

April 23-24th Boys Frisbee was hard at work qualifying to compete in division 1 state.  The LHS team placed 3rd out of 6 teams.  The team beat Arapahoe, Rock Canyon and DSST.  At the East Invite, the boys team went 4-2 beaten only by Heritage and Cherry Creek.

On Saturday, LHS competed against three teams to a 2-1 record.  The one loss was a close loss to Cherry Creek.  The game was a close game with back and forth scoring from both sides.  Even though the match ended in a loss, the score was much closer than when LHS was beaten handily earlier this season by Creek.  This is a testament to how much the team has grown both athletically and from a teamwork perspective.

On Sunday, the record was 2-1.  After two wins, the final match was against Heritage.  Both teams had already secured spots at the state division 1 meet, so the play was fun and spirited.  Both teams admitted to not trying as hard to increase enjoyment.
