As the end of school nears and summer approaches, students everywhere reach their breaking point with school. The end of school seems to be the hardest and worst part of the school year. It’s hard to focus on finals when all you want to do is be outside in the sun. Late nights are spent agonizing over books, sleep becomes rare, and moods are anything but positive.
Although these final weeks are tough, chocolate seems to be a cure for all. If its not a cure, it sure makes things a little better. Better yet, fudge marshmallow brownies can make things a whole lot better. These brownies are the perfect late night final snack and even make a long day at school seem better. In addition, making these delicious brownies is the perfect distraction from studying.
- 1 (18.3 oz) package Betty Crocker Fudge Brownie Mix + Ingredients to prepare
- 2 c. marshmallows
- 6 Tbsp milk
- 6 Tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions.
- Cover prepared brownies with marshmallows immediately after baking and set in hot oven that’s been turned off until they puff up. Remove from oven
- In a medium size saucepan bring milk, butter and white sugar to a boil. Boil for one minute. Stir in chocolate chips, stirring mixture until they are melted and frosting is smooth. Spread over brownies.
