Cross Country meet at Middle Park high

Yesterday, the LHS cross-country team competed in the Middle Park HS varsity invitational meet at Snow Mountain Ranch.  This is one of the farthest meets the LHS cross-country team attends, all the way in Tabernash, CO. This year, a total of twelve high school cross-country teams came to this invitational. Sophomore Christian Sapakoff finished in third place overall.

“It was a really great meet! It was so beautiful as always and everyone did amazing,” said senior Ethan Ogden.

Snow Mountain Ranch is thought to be one of the most scenic courses of the cross-country season.

Teams came from all over like Kemmling, Broomfield, Monument, Evergreen, and Highlands Ranch to compete in this varsity invitational meet.

“Everyone’s times were slower [at Snow Mountain Ranch] than at Liberty Bell’s because it was a pretty hilly course,” said junior Addi Iken.
