“Giving Snowman” spreads holiday cheer

Student Council has just put up their annual “Giving Snowman”, a paper snowman that has the names of students from the Musana Community Development Center in Uganda, Africa and what they would like as a Christmas present. The students at Musana write down their interests and what they would like as a gift and these papers are then hung on the “Giving Snowman” for students at LHS to take.

LHS has worked closely with the Musana organization in years past through everything from “Giving Snowman” to International Week. The gifts that LHS students donate to Musana go directly to the kids there and are another great way for the two schools to connect.

The “Giving Snowman” is located in the math hallway this year. To donate, all you have to do is pick a snowflake off of the snowman and buy a gift no later than December 22. All gifts will be sent directly to Musana.
