Baseball breaks winning streak against D’Evelyn

Yesterday morning into the afternoon, baseball lost to D’Evelyn with a final score of 0-10.  Despite the game not turning out exactly as they wanted, the boys still fought hard and did their best.

Sophomores Christian Sapakoff and Grant Foster were the primary pitchers of yesterday’s game. Both boys are talented pitchers, but unfortunately, the other team was able to get in a lot of hits and surpass LHS on the scoreboard. Seniors Sam Kail and Max Fidler were able to hit singles at the game, making it a two-hit game for Littleton.

“It was not our best. Our hitting was not clicking as it normally does. It happens, and we’ll be ready to go Monday against Valor,” said the only freshman member of the team Seth Iken, who played left field and third base at yesterday’s game.

Overall, the boys are having a good season and have a league record of 4-2, and are currently ranked second in the league of eight schools, which is very solid. They also had a three-game winning streak before losing yesterday. Their next game is tomorrow afternoon at Valor at 4:00pm, and they are excited to go out, give it their all, and hopefully return home with a win.
