LHS makes strides at the LPS Stride

Sunday morning, many people from LHS and the surrounding community came out for the 22nd annual Stride held at the Littleton Museum. There was a plethora of events and races for all ages including the 5K/10K walk/run and the kids fun run.

“I’ve participated in the Stride since I was little and it is always a fun experience with free food. This year, the weather was very nice. It was great compared to last year’s cold, foggy weather,” said senior Lindsey Vandenberg.

It was also a great day because LHS had the most participants out of the high schools in the district. LHS received 1,000 dollars from Littleton Foundation to make improvements.

In addition, all of the proceeds from the race went to the Littleton Public Schools Foundation and many LHS community members participated or volunteered.
