Winter choir concert shines

Tuesday night, the annual holiday choir concert was held in the theater. It is a special tradition for all the choirs at LHS to take part in and enjoy this time of year.

The different choirs performed a mix of modern and traditional holiday songs and donned everything from formal dresses and suits to santa hats and tinsel.

Chordially Yours performed a crowd favorite of “Dear Future Husband” and “Santa Baby.” They were followed by a wonderful flute performance from junior Beth Rossman and all the choirs came together to perform a giant farewell mashup.

“This was one of my favorite performances because I love the holidays and it is such a nice way to get into the Christmas spirit!” said senior Turner DeShon.

Don’t worry if you missed the action because you can catch the annual instrumental winter concert this Thursday at 7pm.
