LHS welcomes new Head Spirit Coach, Meredith Winnefeld

Recently, LHS hired a new Head Spirit Coach, Meredith Winnefeld.

Winnefeld’s resume and qualifications for the job are astounding. She graduated in 2012 from Arapahoe High School, where she was a member of Toms, track and field and DECA.

Winnefeld then attended Arizona State University on an athletic scholarship and also served as the ASU Feature Twirler. Furthermore, she even performed at four bowl games and Super Bowl 49. Winnefeld graduated as a scholar athlete in communications/dance in 2016. After graduation, she served as an intern with ASU athletics and worked in marketing at Salt River Fields.

We also be welcoming a pageant queen to LHS, as Winnefeld won Miss Colorado 2017 and a talent award, the Women in Business scholarship, at Miss America.

Winnefeld’s role is clear at LHS and her qualifications provide tons of hope for our Poms team. She is also very excited to come back to LPS community and guide our spirit team.
