Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

October just ended, and now people are thinking ahead for the holidays and what cookies to bake and share with their friends and family. Most people love pumpkin, and when combined with chocolate, you can’t go wrong. Luckily, if you’re a fan of those combinations of flavors, then here is the perfect recipe for you, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies.


1-½ cups butter

2 cups brown sugar

1 cup sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin

4 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

2 cup quick-cooking oats

2 cups (12 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips



Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.

Step 2: Cream butter and sugars into bowl.

Step 3: Add egg, vanilla, and pumpkin into butter and sugar mixture.

Step 4: In a different bowl, combine dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Step 5: Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, and stir until combined.

Step 6: Add oatmeal and chocolate chips to batter until well combined.

Step 7: Scoop teaspoons of batter onto cookie sheet, leaving two inches of space between each cookie dough scoop.

Step 8: Bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for about 12 minutes, or until lightly brown.
