Fall Jazz Concert

This past Tuesday the 27th, LHS hosted a combined concert with Newton Middle School’s Jazz Ensemble, directed by Julia Bansgrove, and the Littleton High School Jazz Ensemble directed by Don Emmons.

NMS performed three pieces, The “In Crowd” arranged by Peter Blair, “Orangatango” by Rick Stitzel, and “Dashing through the Snow” arranged by Andy Clark.

Junior Elissa Volling is featured as a violin soloist

LHS performed “Sabor de Cuba” by Victor Lopez, “God Bless the Child” arranged by Sammy Nestico, “Night of the Mojito” by Andrew Neu, and “Phat and Sassy” by Paul Baker. M Burns, Abby Stouder, Seth Young, Carlos Martinez, Devon Aguilar, Thomas Egelhoff, and Taryn Martin had solos.
