Cathy Benton, who has served as school principal since 2021, announced in a letter on March 3rd that she will be resigning at the end of the school year.
“It is with strong emotion I share with you that I have chosen to resign as the Principal of Littleton High School at the end of the year,” said Ms. Benton in her letter to the community.
Benton goes on to say that she has accepted an opportunity to serve as Assistant Principal at the EPIC Campus, opening later this year.
Clay Abla, the LPS Director of Secondary Education, will send more information in the coming days regarding hiring the next principal. Ms. Benton expressed her intention to include members of the Littleton community in the hiring process.
“I will always cherish the time I have spent as a Lion,” said Ms. Benton.
