During a long day of Homecoming festivities, boys varsity soccer played D’Evelyn at the LHS Stadium Friday at 4:15.
In the first half, LHS played hard despite multiple injuries. There were many shots on goal by both teams, but neither were able to get past the goalies.
By the end of the first half, it was evident that the teams were incredibly evenly matched with the score being 0-0.
Unfortunately, over the course of the second half, D’Evelyn got the first and only goal scored during the game.
At the end of the game, D’Evelyn won with a score of 0-1.
Fortunately, there are still plenty of games for LHS boys soccer. Cheer them on at their next one on 9/24 at 7 pm at Dakota Ridge.
