What classes should you take next year?

With class registration coming just around the corner, you may be wondering what classes you should register for. Whether you are new to LHS, or almost a senior, there are always new classes being added or changed. So, what will you register for?

“What is a class you think everyone should take?”

“Culinary, I think, because cooking for yourself is a, like, very useful skill to have and it’s just fun class to take,” said Junior Estee Nordlander.

“Probably Chem. It’s really interesting, it’s a lot of work, but it’s really interesting. I think I find the subject just really interesting. I think it’s a really useful class, and it’s a prerequisite for a lot other classes,” said Eli Faulk, a Sophomore.

“In your first couple years, feel free to try new things, classes you may not already know about or be interested in. So then as you get older, you know what you want to focus in on. I love choir and the arts here at Littleton, so it’s lot fun taking those classes,” said Sophomore Kadence McMillan

“I think one of my favorite classes has been ceramics, I’m a very artistic person, so that’s where I find enjoyment,” said current Junior Natalie Lueker.

“Probably Design Technology last semester, it was really fun.We got to build a table,” said Sophomore Maddie Meier.

“What class(es) do you think you will take?”

“I’m a little excited for IB Lang&Lit, I’ve heard some good things about it, and that it’s a really fun class, probably also EPIC classes I want take next year,” said Faulk.

“I think Bio will be fun. I’ve heard good things,” said Sophomore Jacob Berger.

“IB Bio, hopefully I get in, and I want the college credit,” said Meier.

“I’m interested in the different math classes they’ll offer next year and seeing which ones I’ll go into,” said McMillan.

“I’m excited to register for AP Bio next year,” said Freshman Lexi Myrtle.

Advice from an IB Student:

“I definitely recommend taking at least some higher level classes, specifically ones that I think you find interest in. It’s more knowledge, and the class is more fulfilling,” said Lueker.

When asked why you should take IB, Lueker said, “If you want to feel more prepared for college, I think is the main reason people take IB is for people to get like a college level of difficulty.”
