This past Thursday our unified basketball team competed in our annual tri-school tournament. They played against both Heritage and Arapahoe, and despite the cold and snow, it was a great night with an impressive turnout. The night consisted of three basketball games between each school, and a closing game with all the teams combined against alumni.
The first game of the night was LHS against HHS, and our Lions took the win, with a final score of 18-15. After that Heritage went up against Arapahoe, and AHS won, the score being 15-12. The following game was LHS versus AHS, and LHS won 13-10.

After the schools concluded their games, LPS welcomed back alumnus from each school to play one final game, called transitions. The juniors and seniors from all three schools played against the alumni.
Overall, it was a fun night for everyone who attended. Students and staff alike were able to watch and enjoy the games. LHS in particular had a great night, winning both of the games they played. Well done Lions!
