LHS boys lacrosse had their first game on Friday at the LHS stadium against Mullen. The ending score of the game was 14:1, with Mullen winning.
The 6:30 game was pushed back about 40 minutes, with the first quarter starting just before 7:15.
During the first quarter, Mullen scored 4 points despite LHS defense.
Going into the second quarter, Mullen scored points 5 and 6 but LHS was quick to strike back. Junior Owen Wagner scored point 1 for LHS during the second quarter. Mullen scored two more goals before the end of the quarter, making the score 8:1 with Mullen in the lead.
LHS players senior Jack Pearson and sophomore Foster Dowdle were both injured at the beginning of the third quarter. Mullen scored five more goals this quarter, ending the quarter with a score of 12:1.
As the fourth quarter began, so did the snow. Mullen scored two more goals, making the final score of the game 14:1.
The next game will be this Tuesday at 6:00 at the LHS Stadium against Prairie High School.
