On the morning of December 13th, Student Council kids waited expectantly at all entrances. Whenever a student would come through the doors, shouts of, “Good luck on your finals!” and “Happy Holidays!” sounded throughout the building. Candy canes with quotes attached preached positive mindsets–a delicious start to an otherwise dreaded week.
Additionally, students were encouraged to wear ugly sweaters and holiday attire, bringing out the thrifted, cheesy, and oh-so-itchy sides of students from all grades.
Although the next few days will bring anxiety to Littleton, today proved that a candy cane can do wonders for the soul. Look for the good, and you might be surprised what you find.
