The band, Das Fuz, winners of this year’s Lions Follies, and composed of 5 students, will be performing at After Prom, which is on April 30th from 11:30 pm to 2:30 am. The current members are Asher Morrisroe (lead singer), Jonesy Bones (lead guitarist, backup singer, occasional lead singer), John Keran (lead guitarist, backup bassist), Holden Williams (main bassist, backup lead guitar, piano), and Ian Flanagan (drums). The band has changed slightly since the fall, but still think they sound even better than before.
The band has asked to not spoil their setlist, however, according to the group, they will be playing songs under indie-rock and alt-rock, being a lot of their favorite songs. They said to expect an incredible live performance, and that they can’t wait to see people’s reactions.
“It’s my biggest passion to blow people away with music and really, I just want to be entertaining the people,” says Asher.
After Prom will be the band’s last performance together as a group, but they are going to continue to pursue music in other projects. John and Holden will be performing as an indie rock band, Freeze Peach, and are releasing an album soon. Asher, Sam, Holden, and Ian are planning to do more live performances under an undecided name. The group says that they expect to work together, even after they separate.
The band collectively had one message to send about it: “Come to After Prom! We’ve worked super hard and we’re totally pumped to show what we got.”
