Walking around the halls in the 2022-2023 school year, you’ll be meeting a few new teachers. This includes Chase Taylor.
Mr. Taylor finished high school at Northwest Rankin in Mississippi, and then attended Mississippi State University for 4 years earning his teaching and coaching degree. He has been a high school teacher for 2 years, and now we welcome him to LHS.
This year, Mr. Taylor is teaching science in classroom 1317 here at Littleton. He says his favorite part about teaching this subject is, “the relationships he builds in the process.” And so far, his favorite project that he’s assigned is “the pig dissection lab” because “it’s fun and unique.”
“Getting to know people and learning new things made me want to be a teacher,” he said.
“I’m looking forward to growing as a teacher this school year, and I’m looking forward to coaching football at LHS.”
Mr. Taylor has also said he’s “an overall positive person, and he looks at life in a different way than most people. He looks at the little things and is grateful for them.”
Outside of school, Mr. Taylor loves to go camping, listen to music, and dance. He feels these things bring that positivity into his life.
We’re so glad to welcome Mr. Taylor to LHS!
