Over the Halloween season, I was interested to see that Anderson farms had brought back their traditional event “Terror in the Corn” and this time, they had added a new area and changed up their show from last year. I was excited to go back, and once I had gotten there, I could tell they really cleaned up the environment and made the whole place look brand new.
The food (such as the sausage on a stick and strawberry lemonade) was still there and so was the make-shift “farm” display. They also have the playground area with a massive slide to go down.
I want to mostly avoid talking about the actual haunted “house” experience because I encourage you all to go experience it for yourself, however I will admit that for me personally (on a Friday night) the line was pretty brutal and took a while. Once you are in the farm, I felt completely immersed in the environment of a rundown farm/town, and the entire time I could hear the chainsaws and screaming in the distance, my anticipation was high.
By the time I had left, the memory of the scare actors performances and the sounds and smells still lingered in my mind and I could say that overall, it was worth the time and money. If you want to have a scary experience to get you into the Halloween spirit, Terror in the Corn is a must.
