This Wednesday night, the LHS Choirs and Orchestra had their Fall Concert. It was a success, with many people filling the seats in our theatre! They started their performance with a beautiful piece called Aggressivo. The LHS singers came on stage after the Orchestra, and sang Sixteen Tons. Concert Choir sang next, with very elegant pieces that brought out both harmonies and melodies. LHS Singers went back on stage, and captured the audience with their incredible acapella. Women’s Ensemble had incredible singing, with soloists Tricia O’Connell, Abby Heider, and Sophia Bello. Troubadours sang Dies Irae along with two other pieces, and Syrens followed their performance with songs like The Parting Glass, where they gathered in a circle while singing. Overall, it was an amazing first concert, and everyone did amazing!
