On Wednesday, March 18, the singers of LHS gathered to put on yet another wonderful concert. The show titled “All You Need Is Love”, included the Women’s Ensemble, Concert Choir, the LHS Singers, the Syrens, and the Troubadours.
The performance kicked off with a combined soprano and alto group performing “Taylor the Latte Boy” with soloist Emily Lesen, it was an amazing start to the show. The Women’s Ensemble then followed up with “Love Never Leaves” and “Your Song”, and then the Concert Choir entered with “When She Loved Me” from Toy Story and “It Had to Be You”.

The LHS Singers then took the stage performing “Can’t Help Falling In Love” with solos from Johanna Shepela and Kairi Glamos and followed up by “This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)”. Then, a combined tenor and bass group did an incredible show of “Fly Me to the Moon” and as they ended, they traded off with the Syrens who sang “Sunshine”, “O Love”, and “Dear John, Dear John (Punctuated by Love?)”, which was amazingly executed.

The second-to-last performance was by the Troubadours, singing “And So It Goes” and “How Can I Keep From Singing?”. After they concluded “How Can I Keep From Singing?”, the Troubadours began “Seasons of Love”. As they started singing, they moved to the front of the stage and all the other choirs filed in behind them and joined the Troubadours in the song. By the end, everyone involved in choir was on that stage singing as one, creating a remarkable experience for the audience.

All in all, everyone’s hard work in choir paid off as the concert sounded and looked incredible. Hats off to all the soloists and Ms. Taylor for helping the students along in this production.
