Yesterday, on September 20th, our Lions varsity volleyball team won every match of their home game here at LHS, 3-0.

The final winning score was 25 to 21 against the George Washington Patriots.

Senior Sydney Babcock, team captain, said, “I feel incredible, there was really amazing playing out there and the energy was so up.”

Babcock had a huge block along with many other key plays, which really helped turn the tide in Littleton’s favor.

Another varsity volleyball star, Junior Keigen Boyd, made the crowd go wild with a play after the ball had bounced off of the backboard, helping set the right tone for the Lions.

Suspense built when there was a massive rally, with the ball flying back and forth across the net over 10 times. The crowd was on their toes, and the Lion’s finally scored the point.

Junior Camryn Alfstad along with Sophomore Addy Giles repeatedly dove for the ball in defensive plays as the stands cheered and chanted. It was Giles’ first time playing as libero.

“There was consistent serve receive and amazing play at the net… I want to shout out this year’s seniors who are amazing leaders, and those in the student body who come out and support our games.” Said Coach Stefanie Evilsizer.
