Before I say anything, Kanye’s antisemitic comments are not because of an outside influence, and this man genuinely needs psychiatric help.

That being said, Kanye fans seem to be divided about his current state. Before his Twitter remarks, Kanye had a lot of plans with things like the private Christian school “Donda Academy” (including their basketball team “Donda Doves”), the future of Yeezy, his separation from Adidas and GAP, and his musical career’s future.

From what I can recall, a lot of fans were confused about his future and his increasing spite toward his ex-wife Kim Kardashian (especially after her breakup with Pete Davidson, which also caused a lot of divide amongst Kanye fans) and his lack of communication/confusion of his plans for Yeezy.

And while the pot of toxicity was being stirred, Kanye then wrote a tweet threatening Jewish people.

After this incident, Kanye lost two billion dollars in one day. Now, I hope that this man is ok and I strongly support him getting psychiatric help (as someone who also suffers from bipolar disorder), however not only would Kanye’s future plans be ruined by this, but this left fans in the dust about a lot of any promising projects he had left in mind.

Kanye fans are more divided than ever now. And (although this is not common) some of the more extremist fans took Kanye’s message too seriously and has garnered attention from unwanted parties, such as the antisemitic group “GDL” taking over a bridge in LA spreading antisemitic propaganda and promoting their website. This is completely idiotic and I’m sure that the vast majority of Kanye fans do not promote these ideals.

Moreover, the fandom has also separated from the Christian themes in his music, and the infamous “Donda 2” having to pay $200 to listen to Kanye perform the same songs about Christianity and him repeating “I stopped buying Louis bags after Virgil passed” 100 times. Some people support his theme of god, while others don’t agree with this decision.

Kanye fans are also worsening his mental state by encouraging his unhealthy behavior, such as the “SKETE” slander about Pete Davidson, and the boycotting of GAP and Adidas. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the two billion dollars lost is due to how toxic and mean-spirited the fanbase has become.

With all of the slander, division, antisemitism, and controversy within the fanbase, I would consider the fact that Kanye’s legacy (whatever was left of it at least) is coming to an end.
