Throughout the month of October, Hudson Gardens hosts its Magic of the Jack O’Lanterns event, where those who attend experience a walkthrough of colorful lights and intricate pumpkin carvings and formations. The experience is enjoyable for all ages, making it a great event to attend with family or friends.
Viewers observe different displays as they follow the path, from regular pumpkin carvings to Disney characters, Harry Potter images, ocean, dinosaur, Antarctica, and forest-themed setups of lights and pumpkins.
The entire walkthrough is self-paced so it can take as long or as short as you desire. Food stands are also set up along the path and around the gardens so you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or a funnel cake as you take in the sights. Not to mention, the ambiance of the lights provides great photoshoot opportunities.
It’s a great activity to get into the Halloween spirit and if you can, it’s definitely worth checking out.
