We had the inaugural game for the new Centennial Stadium by our very own varsity boys soccer team against D’Evelyn High School.
The Lions won the game 1 to 0 with many great plays and saves by our team.
When asked what he likes about the new stadium, coach of the team and history teacher at LHS, Mr. Will Daniel, said,
“The fact that the field is not running up angles on the sidelines for the track that’s really nice for players, you’re less likely to blow your ankle or your knee because its a flat run across.”
The new stadium is a great addition to LPS and we’re excited to use it more in the future.
