Ari Leff who is known under the stage name ‘Lauv’ has become a popular name in the music industry. The romantic, EDM singer-songwriter has been topping the charts with his songs, “I Like Me Better” and collaboration with Troye Sivan “i’m so tired…” which both collectively have a total of over 300 million views on youtube.
Lauv has been on multiple late and morning talk shows including Jimmy Fallon, performed at this month’s Teen Choice Awards, and topped on Billboard’s Emerging Artist Charts. He has written songs for artists such as Demi Lovato and even opened up for Ed Sheeran on tour.
This past week, Lauv has released a new song and video titled “Tattoos Together.” This song is a new single for his 21-track debut album “~how i’m feeling~” which is set to release on March 6, 2020. Tattoos Together is a fun, vibey, and catchy song that you can definitely blast in the car or dance around your room too.
“This is one of my favorite videos I’ve ever done cause I’ve recently done a few heavier, more existential videos but Tattoos is just straight fun the whole time….and I got to prove to the world once again that I can’t dance” Lauv has said about his latest song.
Lauv is definitely an underrated artist, but I do not think that is going to last very long. With “~how i’m feeling~ being his official debut album, I see a bright future for his keyed-in new voice. Lauv is coming to the Red Rocks on August 18 for his ~how i’m feeling world tour~. If you are looking for a new artist to listen to, I definitely recommend getting into Lauv.
