As the semester comes to a close, LHS winter sports are on the rise. Winter sports include Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Unified Basketball, Girls Swim and Dive, Boys Wrestling, and Girls Wrestling.

Junior Erica Levene: “We have a relatively new team and it’s just a great experience to spend time with new players. I’m looking forward to this season with our new team and building our way.”

Unified Basketball:
Junior Reese Reynolds: “It’s gonna be a fun season. It’s gonna be a little new because we’re doing a new tournament, a special Olympics tournament, and we have new partners and new athletes.”

Senior Sam Denman: “I’m really excited for the season this year. We have a great team and I can’t wait to see how this season goes!”
Junior Hayden Hopkins: “We have some very talented swimmers this year. Some of which aren’t upperclassmen so we’re gonna have a very strong team not only this year but for years to come.”
