Littleton Lions Triumphs Over Conifer Lobos in Impressive Girls’ Tennis Victory

On Tuesday, April 2, the LHS girls’ tennis team showed their efforts and teamwork, securing a well earned 5-2 victory over Conifer Lobos. With dominant performances in doubles and singles, Lions took control of the match early and keep it along the matches.

The singles matches saw Eva Brendlinger deliver a strong performance, winning 6-0, 6-0. Olivia May also secured an important singles victory, giving LHS Lions crucial points. Adison Rinehart ended the singles match winning on a tiebreaker set.

Heading into doubles with a 6-1, 6-2 score Molly Ozimek and Vananh Phan controlled their match from start to finish, winning in both sets. Megan Nguyen and Lucy Peterson followed up with a great performance winning with a score of 6-2, 5-7, sealing the overall victory with a very deserved 5-2 final result.

With this win, LHS Lions continues to build confidence and emotion and will look to carry their success into their next match against Bear Creek Bears.
