Freshman Ryan Alred spends his time promoting the school football team and various local fire departments through photography and social media coverage.
Alred found his love of photography through a friend.
“One of my friends started [photographing local fire departments] and I noticed that he was getting a lot of social media attention. So then I jumped on and it ended up becoming a hobby of mine instead of a social media bragging right,” said Alred.
Like some of his family, Alred wants to be a firefighter himself.
“I want to become a volunteer firefighter rather than paid. I think being a volunteer just kind of spoke more to me. Something about it. Just serving your community without any pay,” said Alred.
Alred also spends his time covering the LHS football team.
“Now, I am a videographer and a photographer for the football team here at Littleton High School. That was a cool offering that I got and now I travel to every football game and handle media,” said Alred.
Although he hasn’t been doing this for long, Alred feels he has achieved much and is proud of the work he has done.
“That’s kind of like my life in a nutshell. When I’m not doing any of that stuff I like going home, chilling, playing video games, whatnot. Just enjoying life.”
