Mr. Enzminger is named 4A Athletic Director of the Year

Last week, our athletic director, Chris Enzminger, was awarded the 4A Athletic Director of the Year by the Colorado Athletic Directors Association (CADA). Every year CADA gives out awards to outstanding 3A, 4A, and 5A athletic directors. Mr. Enzminger was nominated for the 4A Athletic Director of the Year by the 4A Jeffco league and the CADA board of directors.

Mr. Enzminger has been at LHS for six years and is responsible for all 20+ of the school sports programs. He hires coaches, ensures games have officials, and organizes buses for the teams. This year, he has been particularly involved in the unified teams.

“I received this award for helping with, both here at Littleton and at my previous school, the unified teams like unified bowling, unified basketball, and working on unified track this spring, and overall just helping with inclusivity in our sports,” said Mr. Enzminger.

Mr. Enzminger attributes his award not only to his individual accomplishments but also to the LHS community.

“It’s because of the amazing people that I work with here, whether that be coaches or staff or teachers or kids. It’s more for them than it is for me,” said Mr. Enzminger.

Congratulations Mr. Enzminger, and thank you for all you do!
