Are you finishing your new favorite show and just not sure what is going to top that amazing ending? Your favorite couple on the show got together and you will never find a new OTP to ship? Now that Friends left and The Office is following, you may be lost in finding a new show. I can help you there. After spending the past few years binge watching pretty much EVERYTHING on my Netflix recommended list, I can recommend you some pretty spectacular shows.
- Glee
A group of High School misfits try to escape the harshness of high school by joining the Glee Club. It is a musical comedy with lots of drama to keep you intrigued. There are 6 seasons of the show that go through many different issues, bring awareness to different topics, and bring you through the high school years while also performing your favorite songs.
2. Gossip Girl
You know you love me, xoxo Gossip Girl. The iconic quote from an iconic show. This is another High School, but this time for the Upper East Sides elite. Gossip Girl shares text-message blog-like messages about the inside scoop of this over-privileged group of high schoolers.
3. Love is Blind
The new Netflix-original DATING reality show. A group of single men and women try and match to fall in love with each other, but there is a catch. To meet the other person you create a connection with, you must propose to them without ever seeing each other face-to-face. This bases relationships on emotional connection rather than a physical connection. Although it is short and only 10 episodes long, it is worth the watch. Hopefully a season 2 is coming along.
4. Gilmore Girls
The story of a mother and daughter taking on the world together. After you watch this show, you will really be wanting to be Rory Gilmore. Going through life with a single mother, her coffee addiction, crazy grandparents, and of course her brains.
5. Grey’s Anatomy
Ahhh the crazy doctor show who kills off all the main characters, has the most unrealistic cases, unnecessary drama, and that runs way too long. But honestly, Grey’s has been on tv for so long because it is so good. To this team of doctors, “it’s a great day to save lives.”
6. The 100
This is an extremely underrated show that most people have never watched or even heard of. When a nuclear Armageddon destroys civilization on Earth, the only known humans left are those living on one of the 12 international space stations. Three generations later, they begin to run out of resources and send 100 teenage prisoners onto Earth to see if the conditions are survivable.
7. The Vampire Diaries
Team Damon or Stefan?? The show follows the life of a 17-year-old girl who falls in love with century old vampires. As a result, this draws a group of typical high school students into the supernatural world of Mystic Falls.
8. Young & Hungry
A sassy young food blogger is desperate for a job. When she finds out a wealthy tech business owner needs a personal chef, she wants the job. After proving herself to get the job, their relationship goes through a rollercoaster of different emotions.
9. New Girl
The “new” girl moves into a loft with three single guys. One guy is an underachiever who is extremely intelligent, another is a jew who is obsessed with his social status, the final guy is a competitive former athlete who realizes after he won’t become pro moves into the loft. The four of them, along with the girls best friend, form a weird happy family.
10. You
The 2019 released thriller, “You” has people all over the world on the edge of their seats. Joe is just a simple, polite, stand up guy. He wouldn’t hurt a fly. But that all changes when he goes through extreme measures to get the things he wants.
