Deion Sanders, nicknamed “Primetime” in the 1990s, had a legendary career in the NFL. In 2012, Primetime began his coaching career at the high school level. Soon he was coaching where his sons attended high school, and followed his son, Shedeur, to Jackson State University. After finding success at the college level and landing the top recruit of the 2022 high school class, Travis Hunter, Prime has decided to take a step up from Jackson State, joining the PAC-12 in the open spot at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
The Buffaloes finished the past season 1-11 and did not have much hope for the upcoming season. However, the big-name head coach hire has brought tons of publicity to the school. Along with a new coach, CU also gained a new starting quarterback, Deion’s son. Shedeur has transferred to Colorado as well. Colorado got one of their only 5-star recruits in program history, a Class of 2025 Wide Receiver from IMG Academy in Florida, Winston Watkins.
Coach Prime is not only bringing an all-star team of players but an all-star coaching staff as well. He has past head coaches coming in to coordinate and coach other positions. Whether you are a kid, coach, or fan, everyone wants to be a part of the Coach Prime experience.
