Tee-Hee Boba just opened across the street where Subway used to be. As boba fans, we felt that we had to try it out. We tried green milk tea, chai milk tea, and caramel black milk tea.
Our initial impression of the store was that the atmosphere was very welcoming and the prices seemed reasonable.
The green milk tea, although not actually green, was a really solid boba drink. It had good flavor and was more of a classic boba milk tea. Our overall rating was 9/10.
The caramel black milk tea was similar to a Starbucks caramel macchiato which didn’t really remind us of classic boba drinks but it’s a great option for coffee fans. Our overall rating was 6/10.
The chai milk tea boba was good, we wish the tea was a little stronger but it had a nice flavor. The boba was a little chewier than any of us were used to, but it wasn’t too hard and had a good texture. Our overall rating was 8/10.
One thing to note is that the large size only costs a dollar or less more than the medium size, but is much bigger. It is definitely a better value for money.
They also had some baked goods and snacks available, such as macarons and cheesecake, which we found to be a good addition to the boba drinks.
In conclusion, we will definitely be back. Tee-Hee Boba is a great small business to support and we would recommend any boba lover to check it out.
