The Beginning of a New Tradition

On August 1st, over 20 seniors met with their friends and family on the north side of the main lobby parking lot. Everyone chose what parking spot they wanted for their last year of high school and got to painting. People came from 7 am till 10 am, and all had friends or family helping them. Each senior has a unique parking spot with an important message to share, whether that of their beliefs or something to do with their personality. Each senior shared a bit of themselves with the school for all to see. Even though it was scorching and no clouds were in sight, people painted from 7 am till 12 pm. There were tents with music blasting, the pom’s team offering to help, and people being kind and sharing things.

This was a well-organized event, especially for the first year of this new tradition. It was a renowned success, with many people excited to leave their mark of being the first ever. Hopefully, this tradition will thrive for years to come!!

Are you a senior still intrested? Well reach out to Mrs. Koepke they are doing another group of senior parking spots!!

Juniors get excited for next year and consider getting a senior parking spot to continue this tradition!!
